COOKING A TIKKA MASALA FOR 2
- Heat 1 tbsp oil and fry 1/2 a medium, chopped onion. Add in and cook 3 chopped garlic cloves.
- Blend 1 large tomato, 4 tbsp Greek yoghurt and 1 tbsp tomato purée. Add to the pan and cook, while stirring, until thick.
- Add 200g chicken, meat, seafood or veg and 3 tbsp Tikka Masala paste. Cook for 1 min.
- Add 125ml water and 2 tbsp double cream. Simmer until cooked.
For a Tikka Masala Curry for 2 using 50g paste:
- 1 tbsp. butter, 1 small onion, chopped, 3 garlic cloves, chopped, 3 tbsp. plain yogurt, 1 large tomato, 1 tbsp. tomato purée, 2 tbsp. double cream, 20g cashews, 200g chicken, prawns, firm fish, lamb, veg or other.
